What this service includes
We are an exterior masonry crew first, so fireplaces are an occasional job for us rather than our main line of work. When we do take one on, it is the same brick and stone veneer craft you see in our exterior work, applied to the face, the surround, and the hearth. Whether you are covering dated brick with stone or replacing a worn hearth, we lay it tight and clean so the joints look intentional and the stone sits flat.
- Interior brick and stone fireplace facing and surrounds
- New and replacement hearths
- Refacing dated fireplaces with stone or brick veneer
When to call
Call when you need a practical masonry estimate, visible repair, replacement, new construction, or help understanding whether a wall, slab, patio, facade, or outdoor feature can be repaired or needs to be rebuilt.
Common questions
Do you do a lot of fireplace work?
Honestly, no — most of what we do is exterior brick, stone, and block, and new construction. We will take on interior fireplace facing and hearths when it fits the schedule, but it is a small part of our work.
Can you put stone over my existing brick fireplace?
Usually, yes. As long as the wall behind it is sound, we can face an existing brick fireplace with stone or thin veneer. We will check that it is solid first and talk through the look you are after.
